For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Warm, dry, and windy conditions will persist into the weekend.
Southwesterly wind gusts of 40 to 55 mph will be common today, with the
strongest winds expected to occur over northeast Utah and northwest
Colorado. Wind Advisories have been issued for most of the lower elevation
valleys. In addition to the strong winds, low relative humidity values
support another day of critical fire weather conditions, resulting in Red
Flag Warnings across most of the region from 9AM through midnight. Red Flag
Warnings also are in effect for much of the area on Sunday.
