FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Sat Jun 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...Showers and storms, with some storms being severe,
have and will move through Upper Michigan this morning. Some
damaging hail and winds will be the primary threats, followed by
frequent lightning and heavy downpours. Some spots may see several
inches of rainfall, while others may see only a tenth or two.
Regardless, expect the sun to come out by the afternoon hours as the
convection moves into the Lower Peninsula and northern Ontario, with
high temperatures getting into the lower 90s in the interior west
and central as southerly flow continues today through Sunday. With
dewpoints getting into the 70s today and Sunday, and not getting
below 60 tonight, expect muggy conditions this weekend.
