Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
211 PM PDT Wed Jun 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...Breezy winds will settle down overnight tonight,
with Thursday expected to be quiet, outside of continued gusty
winds through the Cascade Gaps. Another weather system will
arrive on Friday, making for widespread shower chances through
early Sunday morning. Winds will pick up once again as a result,
however cooler air will accompany this system, allowing for much
higher RHs than seen most of this week. A warm and dry trend is
then expected next week.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
