This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina and
southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A few isolated storms this evening have lead to localized heavy
rainfall and flash flooding in a few locations. These storms will
continue over the next 1-2 hours leading to additional localized
flash flooding concerns before dissipating as they progress north
into Southwest Virginia.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a daily chance of thunderstorms through next week.
Thunderstorms could produce heavy rainfall, which may lead to
localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are possible at times Friday through Wednesday.

Some thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday could produce strong wind
gusts and torrential downpours. Torrential downpours are also
possible on Sunday and any locally heavy rainfall this weekend could
result in isolated instances of high water or flash flooding.

western Carolinas.

A few strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon into this
evening. The main hazard with any severe storms that develop are
damaging wind gusts. Additionally, locally heavy rainfall will be
possible with any showers and thunderstorms that develop through
late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

An unsettled weather pattern returns Friday afternoon, and will
persist into early next week. Scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms are expected, mainly during the afternoon and evening
timeframe. Storms will have the potential to produce localized
flooding, especially in urban and poor drainage areas.
